I don't find the right place here, so I place my message here. I am German, no native English speaker but I like to correspond. I don't know Russian ( such a pity) but know English. If you would like to improve your English you should look elsewhere but if you are looking for a nice correspondence I would be pleased. I am 47.
I must say that I am very interested in Russian culture. Dostojevski and Chechov are two of my favourite authors. I really love classical music and of course Russian music as well. I have really alot of classical music CDs. I like philosophy. Every mail will be responded. Or send me a private message.
Correspondences is something I really like. I have correspondences with a lot of people. I correspond with Julian who is a music librarian in London for many years now. I had other correspondences to Chicago, New York, Iran, Nigeria, Kanada and so forth. Just now I correspond with a person from Brazil, very exciting as you don't know much about Brasil in Germany. And some Americans.
I found all my correspondences through my love for classical music, this was always a good starting point. But you meet Russians very rarely ( better say never) in English forums for classical music. So I try this website which I found through the Moscow Times.
To simply ask for a correspondence may be a bit direct, but noadays I prefer the direct way. It is the best way.
